Karl Jeffrey Thompson, 3-year-old son of Russell G. and Phyllis Neff Thompson died Sunday afternoon in Riley Hospital at Indianapolis. He had been hospitalized 11 days and had been ill for a year. He was born Nov 19, 1955 in Crawfordsville. Survivors include his parents; a sister, Claudia Joann Thompson at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thompson of near Alamo; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Neff of Elkhart; and two great grandmothers, Mrs. Ira Luzader of Alamo and Mrs. Eva Thompson of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Kraus, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services for Karl Jeffrey Thompson were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bright Funeral Home. Pastor Richard T. Kraus of the Christ Lutheran Church officiated. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were James Dinehart of Elkhart, John Paligraf of Muncie, 1st Lt. Ralph K. Neff of Ogden, Utah, and Ernest R. Thompson of Crawfordsville. Curtis E. Bright played organ selections. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Karl, age 3, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell G. Thompson of Yountsville, died Sunday afternoon at Riley Hospital.
