Harry Thompson, age 48, passed away Sunday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Thomas Black, 424 E. Market St, after several months' illness with tuberculosis. Mr. T. was the son of Mr. & Mrs. David Thompson and was b. in this city Sept 17, 1880. He was united in marr. to Miss Minnie Philips of Springfield, Il. 13 years ago. He came to Crawfordsville last March from Frankfort for a visit with his sister. His condition became worse a few weeks later and he was never able to return to his home. He was a member of the First Christian Church of this city. He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas A. Black, E. Market St and Mrs. WS Warren, 601 Whitlock Ave. Fun. services will be held at the Black home Tues. afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. James H. Wilson pastor of the First Christian Church in charge. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
