Roy B. TAYLOR, age 48, died at his home near Byron Monday
afternoon at 3:15 o'clock following an illness of several months.
Death was due to complications. Mr. Taylor was born in Howard
Twp, Parke County, on Feb 22, 1896. He was married to Edna SOWERS on
March 29, 1920 in Rockville. He had spent his entire life in this
community, having lived for the past 21 years on the farm he died
on. He was a veteran of WWI. Besides the widow, the survivors
include 4 daughters all at home; 3 brothers and two nieces, and
one nephew of Indianapolis. The services were held Thursday
afternoon at the Byron Church at 2 with Rev. John Servies in
