Carl TAYLOR, 23, well known here was found dead in the cab of
his truck at the Bramlett mine near Rockville about 5:30 on
Monday morning. The men coming to work at the mine noticed the
car filled with steam from the overheated engine. Supposing
Taylor to be asleep they tried to waken him but found him to be
dead. Wishing to get an early loading he had gone to the mine
about 9 on Sunday evening. He turned on the heater and went to
sleep. Evidently there were leaks about the engine. He was the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Taylor on the old Thomspon farm north
of Marshall. He married Miss Berniece CRAIG 3 years ago. Mrs.
Norman Jarvis is a sister. - transcribed by kbz
