John H. TAGUE 76 died Thursday morning at his home West of Waveland after having been in failing health a number of years. Mr. Tague was born in Madison, Ind Jan 31, 1867 son of Caswell and Rosetta Tague. On April 11, 1899 he was married to Elizabeth LOMAN who survives him. He was a farmer all his life and lived near here some 30 years. The funeral was conducted at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at the Byron Weslyan Methodist Church of which he was a member, and burial in Maple Ridge. The children who remain are Miss Leota Tague at home; Mrs. Robert Mitchell, at Marshall; Mrs. Ada Downing, Brazil; Mrs. Fern Phillips and the Misses Mary and Harriet Tague of Indianapolis; 3 sons, Clifford at home; Pfc. Garnett of Nashville Tenn and Cpl. Herman J. of W. Palm Beach, Fla. Two sons died earlier. Three brothers, Morton Tague of Crawfordsville; Arthur Tague of Waveland and Allen Tague of Ligonier. Two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Hamm of Indianapolis and Mrs. Harmon Zachary.
