Mrs. John TAGUE, resident of Crawfordsville since 1947 died at her home at 2 a.m. Saturday. She had been in failing health for several months and became seriously ill 3 weeks ago. Mrs. Tague lived with her daughter, Leota and a son, Clifford. Prior to moving here, she lived in the Byron community from 1915. Born June 14, 1882, the daughter of Henry and Bernadine LOHMAN at Madison, she married John H. Tague in April 1897. Mrs. Tague was a member of the Byron Wesleyan Methodist Church. The survivors include six daughters: Leota and Mrs. Harriet Stonebraker both of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Robert Mitchell and Fern Tague of Waveland Mrs. Mary Shireman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ada Downing of Brazil; 3 sons, Herman of Waveland and Clifford and Garnett both of Crawfordsville; two grand daughters, two grandsons, a great grandson and 3 nephews. The husband preceded in death in Nov 1943 and another son, Raymond died in June 1927. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in charge of Rev. Eddie Smithes of Gas City. Burial was made in the Maple Ridge Cemetery. - typed by kbz
