WEST POINT -- Mrs. Alice Florence Switzer, 73, of West Point, died Monday evening in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She had been a patient for two weeks. Mrs. Switzer lived on a farm in the West Point area since 1950 and was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She attended the Farmer's Institute Church in West Point and went to Hillsboro High School. Born Feb. 22, 1903, she was the daughter of Campbell B. and Carrie Bell Cooper. She married Clifford N. of Waynetown on Aug. 6, 1921. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James J. of Indianapolis and Morris Eugene of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. John (Lois) Foltz of Griffith; two sisters, Mrs. Lee (Blanche) Shirley of Lafayette and Mrs. Marian Rice of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Four brothers preceded Mrs. Switzer in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
