Oscar A. Swank, former Crawfordsville resident, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at his home in Sun City, Ariz., at the age of 77. He was married to Mima Alexander March 30, 1912. He was a member of the Center Christian Church. For several years Mr. Swank taught school in the Elmdale and Center communities. He helped to organize the Farmers Produce Association Creamery at Crawfordsville. He farmed in the New Richmond area. For several years he managed the creamery at Orleans, Ind. He was advertising manager for the American Dairy Association in the midwest for twenty-four years. Mr. Swank resided in Indianapolis until January of 1964 when he retired and moved to Sun City, Ariz. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Etter of San Francisco, and Mrs. Lou Gerdes of Omaha, Neb., two grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Ray Dazey of Crawfordsville. Services will be at the Bright Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Swank, former Crawfordsville resident, at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Frank Williams of Frankfort will officiate. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. Mr. Swank died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at his home in Sun City, Ariz., at the age of 77
