Grace Swank, 55, of 1706 Ladoga Road, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. She had been in the hospital one day. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended Alamo High School. Born March 10, 1925, at Grange Corner, she was a daughter of Freeman and Leona Krout Allen. In 1942, she married Leslie Swank, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, David and Eddie Swank of Crawfordsville and Danny and Eric Swank at home; three daughters, Mrs. John (Sharon) Gosnell of Rt. 6, Mrs. John (Susan) Conkright of New Ross and Lisa Swank at home; a brothers (brother), Carl Allen of Crawfordsville; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Fairfield, Mrs. Berniece Williams, Mrs. Jean Gleason, Mrs. Wynona Hunley and Mrs. Mary French, all of Crawfordsville; eight grand-children; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and an infant sister. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Tom Savoldi and Malcolm Patton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery, south of Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. smc
