WINGATE, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Cynthia Alice Swank, 93, of Wingate, died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 24, 1970) at the Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been in ill health for three years. Mrs. Swank was born Dec. 27, 1876 near Elmdale, the daughter of Stephen and Margaret Wilder Ross. She married William Swank July 4, 1893. He died in 1930. She was a member of the Center Christian Church north of Elmdale, the Wingate Order of Eastern Star 336, and was a charter member of the Waynetown Rebekah Lodge 551. Survivors include a son, Paul J. of Lebanon; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Weir of Englewood, Calif., and a grandson. Arrangements are pending at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown.
