God has seen fit to take from our midst another beloved wife and mother. Mrs. Joe Swank died Saturday, March 22, of lung trouble. She had been failing for several months. She was like a good many others, she thought she would get well. She died very suddenly. She leaves a father, mother, two brothers, two sisters, husband and three children and a host of friends to mourn for her. She belonged to the Old School Baptist Church. Her funeral was held at the Baptist Church at this place on Monday, March 24th, by Brother James Smith, of Vermillion County, after which her remains were laid to rest in Oaklin Cemetery. The pallbearers were some of her lady friends. The parents, father and children have the sympathy of all. -s
