Svendblad, Alma - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Miss Alma Charlotte Louise Svendblad, recently of Chicago, died of consumption at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hall, northwest of here, last Thursday. Miss Svenblad was born in Sweden, where her father still lives, but came to this country with her sister, who now lives in New York. She was an acquaintance of Mr. Hall’s family and came here some five weeks ago to rest and with the vain hope that she might grow stronger, but instead grew rapidly worse until death came as a sweet relief. She was 28 years and 10 months old.

The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Daugherty at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hall on Friday. Interment was at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. -s
