CRAWFORDSVILLE, March 8 - A wave of influenza today had caused the closing of Waynetown school, 10 miles west of Crawfordsville while at Crawfordsville, one child was dead as a result of the disease.
Two-year-old Goldie Jane Surber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Hobart Surber, died yesterday. Her death was attributed to influenza. Many pupils and teachers at the Waynetown school have been stricken. – thanks to Kim H
