Sunderland - Emeline Hall

Mrs. Emiline Sunderland died Wednesday night at the home of Mrs. Hettie McConnell. Mrs. Sunderland was 83 years old and had been in failing health for some months. The body was taken to Burlington, Ia., Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock and was accompanied by her daughter, Miss Clara Sunderland and Mrs. Keiser.
Mrs. Sunderland was the widow of John P. Sunderland, who for many years was a merchant in this city, being a partner of John R. Robinson, Sr. Her maiden name was Hall and she was an aunt of Mrs. Priscilla Keiser, a cousin of O’Neal Watson, and was related by marriage to Dr. D. N. Morgan and Major L. A. Foote. Mrs. Sunderland had resided for a number of years in Burlington, and her husband is buried in that city. - s
