Waynetown April 17 = Edward Davis Suitors, 84, a barber for 40 years died at his home in Waynetown at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning of heart ailment. He had been in failing health for two years b ut had been seriously ill only 13 hours. Prior to becoming a barber, Mr. Suitors was a farmer and spent his entire life in Fountain and Montgomery counties. One son, Floyd is also a barber, having a shop in Crawfordsville. Mr. Suitors was born four and a half miles northwest of Waynetown on June 14, 1876, the son of Wesley and Elmira Parker Suitors and on June 13, 1897, he was married to Minnie Grace Rivers of Waveland. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Floyd Suitors who lives in Waynetown but owns a barber shop in Crawfordsville and Everett Suitors of Waynetown; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Bell of Hillsboro, Mrs. Littleton Groom of Brooklyn NY and Mrs. Leonard Grimes of Waynetown; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Fred Suitors of Waynetown and one sister, Mrs. Verna Stockdale of Seattle, Wash. The body is at the Grenard Funeral Home and on Friday afternoon will be taken to the family residence where friends may call until time for the funeral which will be held from the Baptist Church at 2 o';clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. IC Overman, assisted by Rev. Guy E. Tremaine. Burial will be made in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
