Waynetown, Jan 7 -- Mrs. Anna SWEENEY, 56, widow of Stephen Sweeney died at 2:30 o'clock this morning following a 3 years illness with a complication of diseases at the home of her brother, Walter Cox who resides NE of Waynetown in the Liberty Church neighborhood. Mrs. Sweeney was born April 5, 1880, near Shannondale the daughter of William H. and Elizabeth Conn Cox. She was married Dec 10, 1899. Her husband died Sept 10, 1933 and since that time she has made her home with her brohter. She was a life-long resident of Montgomery Countya nd member of the Presbyterian Church at Shannondale. Surviving in addition to the brother at whose home she died are two sisters, Mrs. Lee Dale near Youtnsville and Mrs. George Karle near Crawfordsville and five nieces, two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Liberty Church in charge of Rev. WW Roberts, Crawfordsville; burial in Shannondale Cemetery. -kbz
