MRS. IDA D. SUTTON died early Friday morning at her home, 818 South Washington street, after an extended illness. Born in the northeast part of Montgomery County, Mrs. SUTTON was the daughter of WILLAM AND AMERICA WILLIAMS CORNS She was married in 1886 to WILLIAM SUTTON and they went into housekeeping on a farm near Bowers, in Sugar Creek township. MRS. SUTTON held membership in the Methodist Church in New Richmond. A son, MARION F. SUTTON, of Lafayette, and a daughter, MARGUERITE M. SUTTON, of Crawfordsville, survive, together with a brother, JOHN CORNS, of Lincoln, Neb. There are two grandchildren, CLYDE A. SUTTON, of Lafayette, and WILBUR L. SUTTON, of Toronto, Canada. Nieces and nephews who survive include FRANK B. CORNS of Frankfort; EARL SMITH, Orange, Cal.; IVAN CORNS, who lives in Texas; MRS. DONNIE KING and MRS. LULA CAMPBELL, both of Indianapolis, and CLARA CORNS and PEARL CORNS; both of Darlington. Funeral services will be conducted from the Utterback and Bright Funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. George M. Anderson, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church of Crawfordsville. Burial will be in the Clouser Cemetery near Bowers.
