Stultz - Alvah Lawrence

Roachdale -- Alvah Lawrence Stultz, 88 year old retired farmer of the Morton neighborhood, died at 4:45 p. m. Saturday in the Britton Nursing Home at Rockville. He was a son of John and Mary Pickel Stultz and was born Feb. 6, 1876. He was married to Lucy Ann Young who died Feb. 13, 1946. Mr Stultz had lived in and near Morton all his life. Survivors incdlude a son, Dewey of Morton, two daughers Mrs. Mary Goins of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Willena Mahan of Roachdale; a brother Ray of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and neices and nephews. Five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services are announced for 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Union Chapel Church near Morton. with burial in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Rev. John McFarland will officiate. Friends may call at the Perkins Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour preceding the services.
