C. E. Lacey Wednesday received a message from his wife announcing the death of Mrs. Lacey’s mother, Mrs. Sarah Studebaker, at her home in Bluffton, where Mrs. Lacey has been for some days at her bedside. Mr. Lacey went to Bluffton on Wednesday to attend the funeral.
Mrs. Studebaker was well known in this city where she had frequently visited. She was here only five weeks ago but was then in poor health.
