Stubbins - Clara Yount

Mrs. Clara Y. Stubbins, a former resident of this city and a granddaughter of Dan Yount, founder of the Yountsville Woolen mill, died at the home of her son-in-law, Frank A. Symmes, in Indianapolis at 1 o'clock Friday morning. Mrs. Stubbins was the daughter of William P. Yount, who died here 15 years ago. Her step-mother, Mrs. Ella B. Yount is still living in this city. Mrs. Stubbins who was close to 74 at the time of her death was a sister of Mrs. Nettie V. Lebo of this city. Two brothers also survive, Andrew living in New Jersey and Losier at Olney, Ill. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Dora Symmes with whom she has been living, Mrs. Stubbins is survived by another child, Lloyd living in Tennessee. The deceased also is an aunt of Harry J. Stubbins of this city. Funeral services for Mrs. Stubbins will be held in Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon. Interment will beheld at Oak Hill Cemetery in this city. The casket will be opened at the grave here. - kbz
