John W. Stringer of New Ross, vicinity, was found dead on last Thursday morning. He had been drinking excessively and a controversy that he had with a constable brought on heart disease, resulting in death. In accordance with these facts, Coroner Ensminger brought in a verdict. -s

“New Ross news item” – John Stringer, a farmer who lives one mile west of town was found dead in his yard on Thursday morning. He had separated from his wife and had been drinking to a great extent. He was buried at Ladoga, Friday.
