Straight - Ada Henry

Last Sunday morning the death of Mrs. Adah Straight (sic) occurred at her residence on High street. She was born in Menongahala county, Virginia on September 16, 1806, and her age at the time of her death was 80 years, 2 months and 16 days. She was married to John B. Straight in 1827, and of their ten children, eight are living; Ed M. Straight, of Pullman, Ill., V.B. Straight, of Denver, Col., T.L. Straight, city, Miss Mellie Straight, city, Mrs. Lou P. Gill, of Paxton, Ill., Mrs. Harriet Barnhouse, of Ironton, Mo., Mrs. Eleqqer Bumgardener, at Holten, Kansas, and Mrs. Alicinda Kelley, of Circleville, Kansas. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Greene, at the residence on Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made at Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Streight (sic) was a member of the Methodist church, but the infirmities of age had kept her from regularly attending the church services for several years. - thanks to Kim H
