Source: Crawfordsville Journal, Monday, October 7, 1912 - thanks so much to Kim H.
Benjamin F. Stover, an inmate of the county farm, died at that place Sunday on his ninetieth birthday. Death occurred at about one in the afternoon and was the result of the infirmities of old age. Funeral services were held from the parlors of Hunt & Nash funeral directors, at three this afternoon. Interment was made at the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Stover was born in Virginia, October 6, 1822. He moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stover, to this county while he was a young man. He was a school teacher for many years. A few years ago his wife, Mary Stover, died and this affected his mind. For this reason he was taken to the county farm.
