Foster M. Stoudt, well known about New Richmond, died at his home in Ladoga Saturday evening at 6:20 o’clock. Death came after an illness of several years, from necrosis of the bones, his disease necessitating many and severe surgical operations. He leaves a wife and one daughter. He was about 50 years of age, was born in Brookston, and all his life wag spent in White, Tippecanoe and Montgomery counties. His body taken to Brookston that the funeral might occur from his old home, the funeral taking place Monday afternoon, burial in the Brookston cemetery. Mr. Stoudt was manager of the old canning factory in New Richmond, being later connected in that capacity with the canning factories at Wingate and Ladoga, the latter being his home at the time of his death.
