Stonecipher - Celina

Mrs. Celina Stonecipher, aged 84 years, died last Saturday at her home on North Washington Street about 9:30 o’clock. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.
Mrs. Stonecipher was one of the oldest and most respected residents of the county. Her life was a busy one and was marked by deeds of worth and usefulness. She was the mother of Mrs. Sarah Crabbs, deceased, William H. Stonecipher, of this city, and Samuel Stoneciper, of St. Paul, Minn.

The last will and testament of Mrs. Salina Stonecipher has been admitted to probate. It was executed on Oct. 5, 1892, with B. R. Russell and John W. Guynn as witnesses. She appointed her son, Wm H. Stoncipher, as executor. The will has the following provisions.
Martin Stonecipher, a grandson, is given $100 and her largest single bedstead, feather bed and bedding.
Torede Stonecipher, granddaughter, her largest looking glass.
Samuel H. Stonecipher, a son, double bedstead, feather bed, bedding, and a ‘red, blue and white coverlet, spun and woven by herself.’
Mrs. Elizabeth Stonecipher, daughter-in-law, wife of Wm H. Stonecipher, all of her household and kitchen furniture and wearing apparel of every description, except as otherwise named.
Laura Wilson, of Frankfort, granddaughter, black woolen shawl.
B. F. Crabbs, son-in-law, $5.
Wm H. Stoneciper and Samuel H. Stonecipher, sons, the remainder of her property equal between them, after paying all just debts, expenses of last sickness and burial. If these expenses can be paid without selling her residence, it was her wish that it go to her two sons jointly.
