Thomas F. Stockton received sad news last Thursday afternoon in that his old brother, Barker, had died very suddenly that day at noon at his home in Burlington, Carroll County. He died from paralysis of the heart and was apparently in usual health a few minutes before death. TF and Mrs. Stockton left Friday morning driving through to attend the funeral and returned home Tuesday. --- kbz
