Mrs. Dorothy Stewart, 65, of 609 North St., died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at her home. She had been in failing health about four years. Born April 23, 1900, in Crawfordsville, she was a daughter of Clinton and Letitia Roult Williams. She was married July 1, 1923, at Crawfordsville, to Edgar Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was educated in Crawfordsville schools and was a member of the First Christian Church here. She was also a member of the OES at Martinsville. Survivors include the husband; a son, Edgar (Eddie) Stewart of Vincennes; a daughter, Mrs. Neal Zick of Willard, Ohio, and three brothers, Faye, Dwight and Kenelm Williams, all of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Juanita Dazey. The body was taken to Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending. Howard F. Miller officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Dale Cox, Lawrence Cox, Donald Jay, Foster Hicks, Ernest Sheets and Paul Barton. Mrs. Stewart, wife of Edgar Stewart, died Wednesday in her home.
