“New Ross News” -- The diphtheria has made its appearance just west of here. The small child of Stephen Steward died yesterday and several more are ill. Schools are closed and a rigid quarantine has been established. Dr. Bronaugh brought some mucus up for an examination yesterday and carelessly threw it into the street. It is liable to break out at any time now and the doctor needs censure for the foolish way he did.
