Yountsville Farmer Succumes while seated at supper table

Yountsville: June 14 -- Samuel T. Stevens, 64, liufelonf farmer, died suddenly at his home southwest of Yountsville Sunday night at seven o`clock.

Mr. Stevens had been in ill health for some time, but his death came suddenly when he was stricken at the supper table,  Death was due to a coronary occlusion.

Born January 25, 1878, near Bloomington, he was the son of Alexander and Laura Harding Stevens.  He was first married toMary Elizabeth Headrick, who died many years ago.  He was mmarried a second time to Florence Smith on February 6, 1906.  He was a member of the Yountsville Methodist Church.

The survivors include the wife; three children, Mrs. Floyd McCance, Raymond Stevens and Russell Stevens;  two sisters, Mrs. Lula Brown, of Franklin, and Mrs. Emma Ragon, of Indianapolis, and a brother James A. Stevens, of Bloomington.  One son, Wilbur D. Stevens, proceded his father in death in 1907.

Funeral services will be heald at the Yountsville Methodist Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o`clock, with burial in the Masonic cemetery at Crawfordsville.  The body will lie in state for an hour before the services.
