RUSSELLVILLE — Ernest Stephenson, 63, of Russellville died at 7:50 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He was born Jan. 15, 1902, in Linden to William and Martha Harter Stephenson. He was married to Gladys Mullen Sept. 4, 1927, in Rockville. Mr. Stephenson was a farmer and had attended Linden High School and Wayne Business College at Ft. Wayne. He was a member of the United Christian Church in Linden. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Fulk of Lafayette and Miss Ellen Stephenson of Michigan City and two granddaughters, Cynthia and Charlotte. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Helms Funeral Chapel in Linden. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. Rev. Charles Davis will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Linden – Ernest Stephenson, 3, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He had been a patient in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, a week and in Culver Hospital one day. Mr. Stephenson was born in Linden and spent most of his life there and in the New Richmond area. However, he had spent the last two years in Russellville. He married Gladys Mullen in 1925 in Rockville. He was a farmer. He attended Linden HS and Atnhony Wayne Business College in Ft. Wayne. He was a member of the United Christian Church in Linden. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Fulk of Lafayette and Miss Ellen Stephenson of Michigan City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Cynthia and Charlotte Fulk of Lafayette. A brother preceded him in death.
