Maggie Stephens, wife of Allen Stephens, died Jan. 8, 1900, at the sanitarium at Indianapolis. The deceased was 39 years, 10 months and 10 days of age. She was married to Allen Stephens on Jan. 2, 1883, and four children blessed their union. She had been afflicted for a number of years and it was necessary for her to be sent to the sanitarium, where she remained for three years, excepting three months spent at home. Mr. Stephens visited her during the holidays. She was a great deal better then and asked about all her old neighbors and friends. Mr. Stephens received a letter from her on Monday, about the time she died. She was a member of the United Brethren Church and has been a patient sufferer and borne her afflictions with Christian fortitude. The family has the sympathy of the community. Funeral was by Rev. Mater. Interment was at Waynetown - s
