Steele - Mana

Miss Mana C. Steele died Monday at 9 o'clock of peritonitis at the residence of her aunt, Mrs. George Rumble, on the corner of Main and Marshall streets. She was twenty-five years old and a daughter of L. J. Steele, who lives on the Mary Snyder farm, three miles southwest of the city. Her mother died when she was but five months old and she has but one brother living, Frank B. Steele, She has been living at New Richmond but came to Crawfordsville to spend the winter. She was a member of the Linden Christian church. The body left the Rumble residence at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning and the funeral occurred at New Richmond' at 11. - thanks to Kim H
