Mrs. Elizabeth Steele died last Saturday (Jan 12) at the poor house at the advanced age of 73 years. She was for many years confined in the insane asylum at Indianapolis but was incurable and was taken to the place where she died. The remains were interred in the Masonic Cemetery on Monday. – kbz

Mrs. Steele, an aged inmate of the county asylum, died Sunday. She had been insane for twenty years and had passed a greater portion of this period in the Indianapolis State Asylum. She was returned here several years ago as incurable.
