Abraham STAGGS, one of the oldest citizens of Howard Township, Parke County, died at his home near Byron Sunday. He was born in Missouri, and moved here when a young man and entered the farm where he died. Had he lived until August 29, he would have been 80 years old. Funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Tomlinson of Sylvania. Interment in the Fisher cemetery. - - kbz
