Oliver Staton, retired railroad foreman, died at his home in Ladoga at 4:10 p.m. Saturday. He had been ill several years. He was born April 23 1864 in Boone County, the son of Theodore and Martha Jane Kinkaid Staton. He married Sarah Jane Kinnamon Nov 10, 1891. SHe died Jan 29 of this year. He was a member of the Christian Church at Gladstone. He is survived by two daguthers, Mrs. Jesse Pearson of Danville, Ind; and Mrs. Carl Acker of Muncie; a son, Clarence a grandson Russell living in Ladoga and a granddaughter Joyce living in Crawfordsville. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Cox Funeral Home in ladoga; with Rev. Paul miller in charge. Burial in Mounts Run, 8 miles E. of Lebanon.
