Spohr - Catherine Routh

Mrs. Catherine Spohr, 84, died at 7:40 o'clock Saturday evening at Indianapolis after an illness of over a year with the infirmities of age. She was born near New Ross on January 9, 1843, the daughter of Jackson and Sarah Routh. She was twice married, first to Abraham Inlow on April 19, 1859, and to John Spohr, on July 27, 1876. She was a member of the Christian church and belonged to the Pythian Sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas E. Evans of New Ross, and a son, James J. Inlow of Indianapolis, at whose home she died. The funeral will be held from the New Ross Christian church at three o'clock Monday afternoon with burial at the Odd Fellows cemetery at New Ross.
