Mrs. Amanda Spohr, aged 83 years died Thursday at the home of her son, George Myers, 3 miles Se of Lynnsburg (sic). She suffered a paralytic stroke some time ago and the effects of this, combined with infirmities of age, caused death. Mrs. Spohr was the mother of 7 children and her descendents number 56 grand and great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the United Brethren Church. The funeral will be conducted at Mt. Tabor at 11 a.m. Saturday by Rev. Mater - transcribed by kbz

Mrs. Amanda Spohr, aged eighty three years, died last week at the home of her son, George Myers, near Mace. The funeral took place at the Mt. Tabor Church Saturday morning at eleven o’clock, Rev. Mater officiating. Mrs. Spohr was a consistent member of the United Brethren Church. - thanks so much to "S" for all her amazing obit work !!
