Spinks - James (Rev) - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Rev. James Spinks, of the Methodist Episcopal Church and member of the Northwest Indiana Conference, died of congestion of the stomach in Greencastle last Monday morning. He was buried in Romney last Wednesday. He was not a man of very great ability in the pulpit, but in the social circle and in the social meetings of the church, he was a man of influence and did much good by that influence. He will be sadly missed by his brethren and co-laborers. He leaves a wife and two children.—Lafayette Courier -s
