New Ross, August 9—The many friends of Miss Rose Sperry were greatly shocked to hear of her death which occurred at the home of her sister, Mrs. Warren Williamson, at Indianapolis, Aug. 7. The deceased was 31 years of age and a devoted member of the Christian Church, of which she occupied the position of organist for some time. At the time of her death she occupied the responsible position of bookkeeper in a laundry at Indianapolis. The remains were brought home Tuesday for interment. The funeral occurred at the family residence, one mile north of this place, Wednesday at 10 o’clock, Rev. U. S. McCallum, of Irvington, officiating. Interment was at Pisgah Cemetery. A loving father, mother, six sisters and three brothers mourn her loss. The bereaved have our sympathy. – thanks to S
