Source: Waveland Independent newspaper, Waveland, Montgomery County, Indiana March 14, 1924 Mrs. Sanford Spencer died at her home in New Market on Tuesday following a paralytic stroke the previous Thursday. She was the daughter of Morgan McClain and is survived by her husband. The funeral services conducted by Rev. W.D. Headrick were held at the New Market Christian Church yesterday morning.
