Charles A. SPENCER, 84, a resident of Crawfordsville for many years, died Thursday night May 10, 1962 at Bowles Nursing Home. He was born in Parke County February 13, 1878, the son of Samuel and Sarah Noble Spencer. He was a retired farmer and graduate of Bellmore HS. Survivors include his wife, Halle and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland with burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery. -- kbz
