Webster SPEED, an aged colored man residing on Covington Street died on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 at his home. Mr. Speed was over 70 years of age and was born in Georgia. He leaves a wife and several children. The funeral will occur from the AME church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock conducted by Rev. Saunders. The interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery. -s
