Alamo - Jennie Pearl Spall, 78, a native of Alamo, died Friday at 3:15 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, Logansport. She had been in the hospital for a week. Born August 7, 1882, to John and Margaret White Hamm, she was raised in the Alamo area. She was married to Albert Spall in 1910 at Fowler, Ind He died July 16, 1949. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Brookston. Survivors include three sons, Frank Spall of Logansport, Jesse Spall, Rt 1, Crawfordsville and Ralph Spall, Tallahassee, Fla and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home in Brookston. Last rites will be conducted by Gene Strouss, minister of the Brookston Church of Christ, at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Brookston. - kbz
