Sowers - Goldie Thomas

Goldie L. Sowers, wife of Victor Sowers, died early Sunday at their winter home in Deltoa, FL. She was a daughter of Levi and Louisa Morlan Thomas and a native of Putnam County. Mr. Sowers was associated more than 40 years with the DriGas Company of Kingman. Surviving besides the husband are a son, Robert T. Sowers of Kingman, president of the Dri-Gas Co.; a daughter, Mrs. (Phyllis) William Stevenson of Kokomo; a sister, Mrs. Jessie (William) Williamson of N. Terre Haute; and four grandchildren, Kay Ann; Jayne and Jo Ellen Sowers of Kingman and Cindy Sowers of Kokomo and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sowers was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and Ladies Aid Society and the Deltona Pioneer Club. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Church here, where the body (Kingman) will be taken at 1 o'clock. Rev. Larry McMillan will officiate with entombment in the RoseLawn Memorial Cemetery at Terre Haute. Friends may call at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall after 2 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
