- Kingman - Mrs. Beulah Sowers, 88 of Kingman died early Tuesday March 14, 1972 at the Colonial Manor nursing home, Danville. She had been a patient since October 1971. Born April 20, 1883, in Indiana she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Robbins Hadley. She was married June 8, 1921 to William H. Sowers who died Oct 31, 1959. A retired school teacher, she taught 15 years in Newtown 3 years in Harveysburg and two years in Yeddo. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star 204 and Methodist Ladies Aid, both of Kingman. She was a birthright member of the Quaker church. Survivors include two nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Woodrow Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Page officiating. Burial in Kingman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home. Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9.   -- kbz
