Edward C. Sorrels, a veteran of WWI died yesterday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Covington. He lived at 3310 Latonia Ave, Covington. Mr. Sorrels, a bus driver for the Green Line, was a member of Pohlmann-Linneman Post, VFW. He was 48 years old. Surviving him are his widow, Mary Smith Sorrels; two sons, S/Sgt Edward W. Sorrels, England and Pvt. Roy H. Sorrels on Gaudalcanal; a brother, Roy Sorrels and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Pickett and Mrs. Beulah Simmons, all of Crawfordsville, Ind. Services will be conducted at 2 pm. Friday at the Henry Linnemann Sons Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Spring Grove, Cincinnati.
