VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Marie Francis Songer, 74, of Veedersburg, died at 2:45 this morning (July 16, 1976) at the Logansport State Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1902, in Fountain County, the daughter of Jack and Minnie French Berlin. She first married Calvin "Pete" Francis. He died in 1945. She then married Dewey Songer, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Woodson (Betty) Reed of Indianapolis; two sons, Gene Francis of Veedersburg and Richard Francis of Indianapolis; a brother, Bud Berlin of Veedersburg; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter and two sisters preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Nolting officiating. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. -- typed by Walt W
