Hillsboro, Ind.— Mrs. Pearl Walkup Snyder, 74, of Hillsboro, Ind., died at 3 p.m. Friday (July 21, 1967) at her home. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born in Clintonville, W. Va., Aug. 23, 1892, the daughter of Rosser and Martha Burns. She was married in November of 1952 to Alva Snyder who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mae Dougherty of Boston, Mass.; a son, Charles B. Walkup of Hickory Hills, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Thelma Ingersoll of Hillsboro, Mrs. Vera Schermerhorn of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ileen Cooper of Wabash, Ind.; three stepsons, Ralph Snyder of Waynetown, Ind.; Carl Snyder of Hillsboro, Howard Snyder of New Richmond, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Laura Bennett of Rupert, W. Va.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She moved from Kentland, Ind., to Hillsboro in 1953. She was a member of the Kentland Christian Church, Hillsboro Women's Society for Christian Service, Hillsboro Euchre Club and the Hillsboro Harmony Club. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Arthur Schenck will officiate with graveside services at 4:30 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Kentland. HILLSBORO — Mrs. Pearl Snyder, 74, of Hillsboro died at 3 p.m. Friday after an illness of several months. Mrs. Snyder had moved to Hillsboro 14 years ago from Kentland. She was a member of the Kentland Christian Church, the WSCS of the Hillsboro Methodist Church, the Harmony Club and a euchre club here. She was born Aug. 23, 1892. She married Alva Snyder in November of 1952. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Mae Dougherty of Boston; a son, Charles B. Walkup of Hickory Hills, Ill.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Thelma Ingersoll of Hillsboro, Mrs. Vera Schermerhorn of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ileen Cooper of Wabash; three step-sons, Ralph Snyder of Waynetown, Carl Snyder of Hillsboro and Howard Snyder of New Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Laura Bennett of Rupert, W.
