CRAWFORDSVILLE — Mary Roberta (Hutchins) Snyder, 86, 2005 Lebanon Road, Crawfordsville, died at 8:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2000 in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. She was born March 11, 1914 in Veedersburg, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Bright Snyder. She married Howard Snyder Feb. 24, 1937 in Veedersburg. He preceded in death Dec. 14, 1975. She formerly lived in Waynetown and from 1951-1975, she resided in New Richmond. Since 1975 she had resided in Crawfordsville. She was a graduate of Veederburg High School. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Crawfordsville. Survivors include: two sons, Stephen (Janice) Snyder, Crawfordsville and H. Kenneth (Jenny) Snyder, Waynetown; two brothers, Robert Hutchins, Danville and Daniel Hutchins, Fresno, Calif., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twin daughters and a sister Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Wayne A. Manago officiaitng. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. – jlr
