Mrs. Mary L. Snyder, 76, Hillsboro died about noon Friday Nov 14 in her home. She was born August 6, 1910, near Wingate, daughter of Thomas and Iva Kennedy Hightower. On June 20, 1931, she married Ralph Snyder. He survives, along with a grandson, Todd Snyder of WIlliamsport. She was preceded in death by son Richard (1984) and a sister. Member of Prarie Chapel Church, 50-year member of Fern Chapter OES and 1928 grad of Hillsboro HS. Served many years on election boards. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Rev. Allen R. Rumble officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
